1S-LSD Ban 2025 – Current Status of the LSD Law in Germany

In this article you’ll learn:

  • The current legal status of 1S-LSD in Germany
  • When the 1S-LSD ban is likely to take effect
  • Which products we have already discontinued
  • How long 1S-LSD is expected to remain legally available
  • What we have planned after the ban

Short update (as of 4 November 2025)

On 4 November 2025, the agenda for the Bundesrat (Federal Council) session on 21 November 2025 was published — and this time it’s official: the “Sixth Ordinance Amending the Annex to the New Psychoactive Substances Act (NpSG)” is on the list.

This ordinance explicitly names 1S-LSD.

Because comparable prohibition ordinances have been approved without exception in recent years, it is reasonable to expect the ban on 1S-LSD will be decided on 21 November 2025. The ordinance would then enter into force a few days later.

What happened recently?

On 13 May 2025, the BfArM expert committee met and prepared a draft for the next NpSG amendment. Its intent was clear: 1S-LSD is to be banned.

In September, there was an unexpected twist: shortly before the 26/09/2025 Bundesrat session, a last-minute proposal for a general class-wide ban was introduced that would have covered all potential future derivatives.

However, in its counter-statement the Federal Government rejected the Bundesrat’s proposal and invoked the principle of legal certainty — i.e., that laws must be formulated clearly and precisely.

Instead, it announced that 1S-LSD would be added via a separate ordinance specifically amending the NpSG annex. That is precisely the ordinance scheduled for a vote on 21 November.

Will the 1S-LSD ban still happen?

Yes — virtually certain. With the Sixth Amending Ordinance now on the agenda, the prohibition process is formally underway. Since all previous NpSG amending ordinances have been adopted unanimously, a positive vote by the Bundesrat is highly likely.

In practical terms:

  • A few days later: Entry into force → 1S-LSD becomes prohibited in Germany
  • 21 Nov 2025: Vote in the Bundesrat
  • End of November: Publication in the Federal Law Gazette

What happens until then?

We currently have sufficient stock to meet increasing demand. We are aiming to run stock as close to the ban as possible, but — to remain on the safe side — we will stop sales a few days before the official ban.

Stock will wind down during the week of 21/11. That means: first come, first served.

If you want to make sure you receive your desired amount of 1S-LSD, it’s best to order as early as possible.

2. Products no longer being manufactured

Discontinued:

  • 20 µg Microblotters
  • 250 µg Extra Blotters
  • Liquids

Still available until the ban:

3. Remaining stock & availability

Production of 1S-LSD by Lizard Labs already ended in late 2024.
Sales therefore come exclusively from remaining stock, which — based on current information — should last until the ban takes effect.

4. What’s next after the 1S-LSD ban?

Over the coming weeks we’ll focus on shipping all orders on time and phasing out sales in an orderly way.

In parallel, we’re continuing to work on a solution for the post-1S-LSD period. After it became clear the planned general class-wide ban would not go through, we resumed work on new, legal alternatives and derivatives.

There’s no good news yet — but if that changes, you’ll hear it first via our newsletter and Telegram channel.
