We have planted 6 trees per order till September 2023 and thus bind 1.2 tons of CO2 in the next 10 years, which are known to be the decisive years in the fight against man-made climate change.
Now we have talked to several organizations and experts in the field of effective altruism and have developed a new strategy from the discussions and information to donate more effectively.
We have also decided to support the non-profit Psychedelia Foundation, which was founded in December 2024. You can find more information below.
We want to make the world a better place and feel obliged to give something back. For this reason, we donate €1 per paid order.
We donate 60% to the Psychedelia-Foundation, 20% to Wetlands International, 10% to the Against Malaria Foundation and 10% to Deworm the World.
The Psychedelia Foundation’s vision is to destigmatize psychedelics and their applications in society, to promote a rational approach to them and to connect the diverse groups of the psychedelic movement.
The mission is to promote culture and science, create educational opportunities and advise institutions, companies, political decision-makers and private individuals. They are also developing training for professionals and facilitators and want to offer retreats, self-awareness groups and the like for safe and mindfully guided psychedelic experiences in the future.
Wetlands International protects wetlands worldwide through a mixture of its own conservation and reforestation projects, knowledge transfer and political influence. Our donations go directly to a specific project in Panama to restore a mangrove area. Wetlands store a lot of CO2 and are therefore an effective way of protecting the climate.
The Against Malaria Foundation uses the donated money to distribute mosquito nets that protect against malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases. One mosquito net is purchased for every $2 donated and distributed in affected regions. Every year, more than half a million people die from malaria and others are affected for life.
Deworm the World distributes tablets against worm diseases, which cause anemia, growth disorders and chronic immune reactions in affected areas, especially in children. Every year, more than 100,000 children die from worms worldwide, even though treatment is very cheap at $0.35 to $0.66. The distribution of these deworming treatments is therefore a very efficient way of supporting people living in extreme poverty.

Previously, we donated to the organization Eden Reforestation Projects, which plants trees in many countries around the world and provides local people with work.
We have also already donated to the organizations Bildung für Balanka e.V. (enables school sponsorships and also plants trees), ProVeg (advocates a plant-based lifestyle), Psychedelic Society Hamburg e.V. (a community for exchange, education and integration around psychedelics and the first non-profit association in this field), Psychedelic Society Leipzig e.V. (another community for exchange, education and integration around psychedelics) and Gut Aiderbichl (a life farm for rescued animals).
